The funds raised through the Climb Against Cancer go directly to your friends and neighbors in need in the Mount Washington Valley, of eastern New Hampshire and Western Maine who are battling cancer. Jen’s Friends is currently assisting 90+ patients at a cost of over $40,000 per month – and growing!
Cancer doesn’t stop and neither can we!
Our assistance covers everyday expenses such as groceries, transportation and gas, utilities, rent or mortgage payments and other non-medical expenses to relieve some of the financial stress so they can concentrate on healing.
The Climb Against Cancer is our largest fundraiser and we can’t do it without YOU! Every single dollar raised goes directly to a patient and family battling cancer.

Honor your loved one with a memory marker on our digital memory wall!
Memory markers are small signs honoring loved ones taken by cancer. They are normally staked along the hiking route of the Climb Against Cancer at Cranmore Mountain on the day of the event. As hikers pass them, they are reminded why they are climbing and inspired to reach the summit. This year we will have markers on the hill AND online so that your markers will be displayed in two ways for all participants to see.
